WIN Welcomes SPILNA: Ukraine Joins the Global Independent Network

The Worldwide Independent Network (WIN) has officially welcomed SPILNA into its global community. This membership provides the Ukrainian music sector with a stronger international voice and new opportunities for global collaboration.

The Worldwide Independent Network (WIN), the organization representing the independent music sector globally, has announced the addition of two new national trade associations: SPILNA (Ukraine) and PUMPA (Pakistan).

With these additions, WIN now represents 39 trade associations across 45 territories on 5 continents. This highlights the vital role of national groups in building sustainable and diverse local music ecosystems through education, advocacy, and international collaboration.

A Global Milestone

Joining WIN marks a significant milestone for the Ukrainian music industry, fostering integration into the global independent music community. SPILNA will also participate in IMPALA’s capacity-building program, co-funded by the European Union, to bring world-class best practices to the Ukrainian market.

Dario Draštata, Chair of IMPALA, commented:

"It’s great that SPILNA is able to participate in this global network. Ukraine’s independent music community has shown remarkable resilience and creativity, and their services under this scheme will take their place alongside fellow associations worldwide."

The Voice of Ukrainian Industry

Iryna Gorova, SPILNA representative, added:

"We are excited to be part of a community that unites professionals who share our dedication to music, creativity, and the development of the industry. This partnership opens new opportunities for us to provide key services in Ukraine, collaborate internationally, and exchange knowledge and best practices that will strengthen our music market."

Joining WIN is a strategic step that will help SPILNA better protect intellectual property rights and implement global quality standards within the Ukrainian music industry.
